Springside Inn sits across the road from Owasco Lake's western shore. Its roots go back to 1851, when the Rev. Samuel R. Brown founded a boys' school called Springside. In 1919 Captain John Holland opened the building as a summer resort, and it later became a year-round hotel and restaurant. Sean and Beth Lattimore bought it in 1999. Today the inn focuses on **overnight stays, weddings and private events**.

## Stay
- **7 guest rooms**, each with a private bath, complimentary continental breakfast, free WiFi and A/C
- **The Holland House** next door: 3 bedrooms, shared lake frontage, sleeps 10 comfortably
- Details: [Stay at Owasco Lake](https://stayatowascolake.com/)

## Marry
- Ceremonies on five acres of lawns (pond or gazebo), in **The Grove** (two wooded acres), or at **The Point at Sand Beach**, an 1854–55 church on the National Register of Historic Places since 1975
- Receptions in the Heritage Ballroom; the Full Facility holds **up to 220 guests**
- Booking 2027 weddings. See [Get Married in Skaneateles](https://getmarriedinskaneateles.com/) and [Get Married in the Finger Lakes](https://getmarriedinthefingerlakes.com/).

## Attend an event
Springside Inn is dedicated mainly to private events, but it opens its doors for **select public gatherings**: holiday dinners, brunches, clambakes and Neighborhood Night dinners.

> **No public restaurant.** Springside does not have a public restaurant or bar open daily. It is open to the public only during scheduled events, so check the schedule: https://springsideinn.com/dining-2/

## Host a private event
Showers, rehearsal dinners, brunches and parties can use the Terrace Room, Oak & Vine or The Point at Sand Beach. Catering is available. Contact the inn.
